To get started with the process you will need to do the following:
Complete a Request for test quote form that will ask you for detailed information and description of the products you wish to have certified.
1st Step
Determine desired test: Aviation Lighting Testing, Photometric SSL, IES Photometric Testing, LM-79, LM-80, ISTMT (In-Situ), TM-21, Customized Testing, CEC Title 24, DesignLights Consortium®, LED lighting facts®, Energy Star®, UL (Product Safety)
2nd Step
Answer Questions below and share with us:- Contact and company information
- Type of report or data required
- What type of application are the fixtures being used in (how and where your product will be used)
* If roadway, please share mounting height
3rd Step
Complete and return Request for test quote form, if possible include product specifications and picture(s)
4th Step
Approve Quote and Submit to us Credit Card Authorization Form, Business Credit Application Form or Purchase Order
5th Step
Ship samples to Light Laboratory Inc. Attn.: Test Sample. 8165 E. Kaiser Blvd. Anaheim, CA. 92808.
You can also drop off your fixtures during Light Laboratory Inc. business hours Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please call us for drop off's so we know you are coming 714-282-2270.

Test Engineer might have addition question during testing process:
- The list of all other approvals you have already received or are currently pursuing
- Marketing brochures or data sheets describing your product (what it is, what it does, and what
it looks like) - The list of all components and materials used in the product including: manufacturers' names, model or catalogue designations, electrical ratings and LIGHT LABORATORY Group file numbers. If components
have been certified by an agency other than LIGHT LABORATORY Group, please provide the agency listing number along with part names
- The alternate materials or components that may be used in manufacturing
- The schematics and/or wiring diagrams
- The model or catalogue numbers, including any similarities or differences between models
